4th of July

Well we survived the 4th. Tuesday evening we went to mom's for supper. Mom said that we could tell Ruby had been at a weiner roast because she smelled like a Hot Dog! We also took Owan's 9 month pictures (a little late). He is quite the little ham. Ruby went with us as Julie was doing her job shadowing for school. Dustin and Mandy came up so we were all in baby heaven. With three babies you don't have to take as many turns getting to hold a baby! We passed them all around. Ruby and Owan seemed to enjoy the fireworks show, Abbie slept threw the show. Owan also did a little swimming with the boys. The girls didn't get in but maybe another time. we had the usual redneck weinie roast. Notice on the slide show of Jeff and Jacob sawing wood, Tim and Coy and company starting the fire....you'll get the idea when you watch the slide show. We also had a nice fireworks display a dusk. Travis works at Shelton's fireworks and helps with the show. I think there was some fireworks wars going on out east of the house also. This didn't include the woman and babies! ha ha On Wed. Dustin, Mandy and us all went to the lake. The guys did a little tubing, sking and wake boarding. I took pictures and enjoyed the sun. Abbie enjoyed the shade. It was a nice holiday but seemed like Monday again when I had to go back to work on Thursday. Didn't help that Jeff is on vacation. He's painting the house. I hope to take off early a few days and help also. Maybe pictures will show up on the blogspot one of these days of the updates to the house.
