Well lots going on here since the last post. Adam started and finished wrestling. He didn't do to bad for never wrestling before. Doesn't belief that it is something he will be doing again. Both he and Jacob have started track. Think Jacob is missing golf and Adam I think he is enjoying the socialization. He always does wherever he goes.
I have signed up to to run again for Public Administrator. This seems to be where God wants me at this time. I admit somedays I ask why probably more than once. Several things have led to me seeing this is God's will, after the deadline to sign up and no one is running against me just confirms this is God's will. As no one is running against me we will not be dusting off the signs but we will throw candy and wave in the parades. Hopefully the girls will get to come with us. What a better way to show them off.
Dustin graduated from the Kansas Police Academy the first part of March. Jeff,my Mom, Mandy, Abbie and I drove down on a Thursday, picked Dustin up and got to spend the evening with him. He graduated on Friday and we made the long trip back home. He is now working with the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.
The following week we got to go to Chillicothe to see Tyler and his unit return from Afganastan. It was an exciting day as the large buses pulled into the armory. Julie, Ruby, Jeff, my dad and mom, Doug,Molly and I all went to welcome him home. Several others would have liked to went as well as to Dustin's graduation but were unable to take off work and school. He had to return to Chillicothe for a couple of days but has since been home. He and Ruby are getting aquainted. (he even chances dirty diapers!)
Jacob is going to prom with a sr. girl in a couple of weeks so we will have pictures of that event to show in the future. Adam went to a lock in last weekend but we didn't go take pictures.
Dustin and Mandy are going to make us grandparents again in November. I think Abbie is really excited. I know grandma and grandpa are! Abbie turned one today. She came up and we took pictures a couple of weeks ago, then last night she came up to party. She was surrounded by 10 grandparents, lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.
We bought a few baby chicks for Easter and took Ruby and Owan's pictures. Abbie had been sick so she wasn't able to come up to see them.
Well I know I am probably forgetting lots of things but think I've hit the highlights for the most part.
enjoy................
