Busy Month of September
We have been very busy since the last post. Over Labor Day weekend our AZ family was here. Josh is Jeff's brother. He, Jessie, Joey and Jocelyn were here for about 2 weeks. Morgan only got to come for a few days as she is in school. We got to spend time at the fair and all the kids did their fare share of riding. We went to the races, went to the concert and ate lots of junk food. Carmel apples were my favorite. Ruby got 3rd in the baby show. Tyler flew in the first week of September and back out today. We had a very good visit and he and Ruby got aquainted. I think he might have spoiled her a little bit! ha ha We had several family get togethers with lots of food and visiting. We also celebrated Grma Helen's birthday along with Owan's first birthday. He got to have his "cake and eat it too!" on the Sunday before his birthday. You will see some of those pictures on the slide show. It was very fun. I think I ended up with about 100 pictures. We took pictures of Josh's kids and of course the girls. Dustin and Mandy's friends Brian, Lacie and Gracie were here one weekend so Gracie got in on the pictures also. My mom wanted a family picture so we shot that one also. Jacob got a part in the play.....Beauty and the Beast. But I can't think of the name of the character he is. I think it is the foot stool?! Dustin and Mandy were up various times so we got to spoil Miss Abbie. She is getting so big. She is not a tiny baby anymore as she is wiggley when you hold her. She likes to check everything out as well as Ruby does. While we were at the airport today they both were just a looking every which way to see all they could see. They are so much fun. Abbie talked and talked when she was riding with us today. Ruby is crawling. (she started that a couple of days after her dad got home) Then she started pulling up. She has a new trick about everytime she comes over. We will be taking 6 and 9 month pictures next month. Things are really busy at work right now so it may be awhile before I have a chance to post again. besides work, Jacob as I said is in the play and working for really good grades this year. (in addition to turning 16 in a few months!) Adam is Homecoming attendent next week for his class. Got a new haircut this week. not as much as I wanted but more than he wanted. I guess that is what you call compromise! I will post those pictures as I have time. Tyler left to go back to Afganastan today and has a few more months. Dustin will go through his last set of interviews next week for Johnson County Police. Mandy is busy at school where she is teaching Kindergarten and Julie passed her state boards for LPN.
